The Ramallah Friends School exceeds expectation. Even now, my mind wanders to the deeply embedded culture of hospitality, fresh falafel on street corners, and the sound of Arabic spoken by new friends. Through my connections with Oregon Quakers and the hospitality of the school's administration, I had the opportunity to capture their story on film.

As a westerner, it's all too easy to make assumptions about the state of Palestinian communities, but what I found through interviews with students, faculty, and staff was an oasis of learning in a country marked by struggle and a center of education that creates world leaders.
